Refrigeretor construction
Refrigerators and freezers are constructed for long-term storage of vegetables, fruits, meats, fish and their products at relatively low temperatures and in an environment with appropriate internal atmospheric composition. Because of that, the use of construction materials with the appropriate level of gas-tightness and thermal insulation is a very important aspect in the construction of such facilities.
MCM Project, as a company applying the latest technological solutions and highest-quality materials, uses sandwich panels with improved thermal insulation properties, filled with polystyrene or polyurethane core in the refrigerators’ construction.
In the refrigerator- and freezer-type facilities, there is a problem involving frost of the ground under the facility due to the low, constant temperature persisting in the room. In order to prevent blasting of the building’s floor and foundation, we use solutions involving heating the substrate in the cold rooms and freezers.
In realising our designs, we focus on both the construction quality, high parameters of thermal and acoustic insulation, and maintenance free operation as well as aesthetics of the constructed facilities.
Our proposed solutions for refrigerators and freezers meet all required technical and utility criteria for the facilities with a controlled atmosphere:
- gas tightness,
- thermal insulation taking into account specific internal temperatures,
- strength of the elements in relation to the declared loads,
- fire resistance,
- moisture tightness,
- durability of a light casing in the context of the utility parameters,
- the relevant hygienic criteria, including ease of cleaning and disinfection.
